Many have been tricked through clever marketing to believe that store bought plastic bottled alkaline water is good for you. In short, it is not.

After that time, it returns to a neutral 7.0 pH. For this reason, companies use chemicals, like bicarb soda, to artificially retain a pH above 7 for an extended period of time. There is zero therapeutic benefit in drinking alkaline water from a bottle, especially when that water has been stored in it for months at a time.
For this reason, it is recommended that Kangen Water is drunk as soon as it has come out of the machine. You can visibly see the active molecular hydrogen dancing around once poured, and over time watch these bubbles dissipate in your glass.
